Don’t give papaya at the bank

I hate the bank. Before moving here to Bogotá my experience with the bank was more or less painless: deposits and ATM visits. Today I have joined the (international) bank-haters.

I decided to go to the bank around noon, and ended up with 12 people in front of me waiting on two tellers. Then the bank’s internet went down and one teller left for lunch, so I hopped on a buseta (little bus) to another one, only to find myself behind 20 people waiting on one teller! Needless to say I missed my other appointments.

Don’t give papaya at the bank at lunchtime.
